There is nothing quite like the feeling of unzipping your suitcase in a sunny, breezy destination. But if you are anything like me, packing for a week in the heat can quickly turn into a minor crisis. I want pieces that breathe when the sun is blazing, feel completely comfortable while exploring, and look intentionally put-together in every single photo without taking hours to style.

For my latest escape to warmer weather, I depended on classic coastal pieces, smart layering and key accessories to elevate every look. Here is my complete 7-day vacation outfit rotation covering everything from beach morning coffee runs to sunset dinners.

1. Travel Day & Seaside Stroll

After checking into the hotel, I wanted an effortless outfit for a casual walk along the boardwalk. I paired the crisp Tilda Top in Navy Linen Stripe with The Pique Seneca Skort and tied the light-colored The Tay Bow Scrunchy around my hair to protect against the coastal wind.

The breathable linen top kept me remarkably cool, while the skort kept the look stylish in the photos. I grounded the entire look with comfortable leather slide sandals and a straw tote bag.

2. Morning Market & Casual Al Fresco Lunch

For a morning spent wandering through local artisan markets, I built a look around lightweight separates that breathe seamlessly. I wore the sleeveless Juno Top in White tucked into a cute floral skort, and brought along the lightweight 100% Cashmere Wrap tossed over my shoulders for breezy air-conditioned cafes.

The soft cashmere knit gave the casual skirt and top combo an elevated, rich texture that looked so effortlessly chic in lunch photos.

3. Yacht Day & Beach Club Relaxation

A day spent out on the water calls for a cover-up look that easily transitions straight into dockside drinks. I layered the Percy Popover Dress over my favorite white bikini and styled it with the Breck & Grier Allie Clutch, a woven straw hat, and oversized sunglasses.

The wide brim shielded my face from the harsh midday glare, while the classic popover silhouette made the whole ensemble feel like tailored resort wear rather than just a basic swim cover-up.

4. Historical Sightseeing & Ice Cream Run

When walking miles across bright cobblestone streets, comfort is not something to negotiate about, but I still refuse to look sloppy or shabby. I wore the soft Robin Dress in Amalfi Tiles as my base and layered a relaxed Spencer Pearl Topper over top for cool ocean breezes and when we ducked into windy historic churches.

I completed the look with a roomy canvas tote to easily hold my camera, sunscreen, lip balm, and water bottle, finishing with supportive white leather sneakers for endless walking.

5. Sunset Wine Tasting & Tapas

As the sun began to set I wanted an outfit that felt romantic and elegant, but not too stiff, tight or uncomfortable to wear out for the evening. I styled the Eloise Dress in Navy Garden Eyelet with the Fitzgerald Pearl & Gold Hoop earrings and a sleek leather clutch.

The unique gold hoops caught the warm dusk light perfectly against the rich texture of the dark navy eyelet fabric, making for a timeless, photogenic silhouette for stunning photos over glass after glass of local wine while enjoying the cool evening air.

6. Resort Poolside Afternoon to Sunset Cocktails

For a laid back day look that easily transitioned from poolside lounging to evening drinks on the patio, I paired the sleeveless Troye Top in Terracotta Vines with Shelley Skirt in White Embroidered Floral.

The unique Terracotta pattern popped beautifully against the crisp white skirt, and the Margo Wicker Handbag by Lisi Lerch pulled the whole look together, taking it from breezy resort wear to trendy dinner attire in seconds.

7. Farewell Champagne Brunch

On our final morning overlooking the water, I wanted a classy, happy outfit for brunch. I paired the breezy The Orion Dress in White Eyelet with the Mignonne Gavigan Leia Charm Drop Earring. This was a simple outfit that made it a statement look with the beautiful earrings.

The white eyelet combined with the charm earrings gave the entire outfit a romantic, coastal finish that made for the absolute best final vacation photo before heading home.
